Why should I use Arizona Senior Moving instead of a traditional moving company?

We specialize in senior moves — not just transporting boxes. We offer emotional support, unpacking, settling in, and rightsizing services that traditional movers don’t provide. Traditional movers are focused on getting your belongings from A to B. Unpacking means out of the box, not put away where it makes sense for you. Traditional movers consider Senior Moving an additional market and lack the expertise that Arizona Senior Moving has from only moving Seniors and intimately understanding that a Senior move is not the same as a traditional move. There are more memories and a lifetime of belongings to care for. Our all-women packing & unpacking team is unsurpassed in the care we take not only of your belongings, but the set-up of your new home and most importantly you.

What services do you provide?

We offer full-service moves including packing, moving, and unpacking; floor planning, picture hanging, downsizing help, estate clearing, and donation/shipping coordination. We also provide packing services for out-of-state moving and unpacking/settling in services when you move to Arizona from out-of-state.

Do you offer unpacking and help with settling in?

Yes! We’re known for setting up your home so it feels like home on day one — that includes beds made, kitchen organized, pictures hung, and your easy chair ready for you to relax and enjoy your first day in your new home.

Do you hang pictures and make the home move-in ready?

Absolutely. We hang pictures, make beds, set up your living spaces, and make sure you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Our goal is to have your home prepared for you the day you move in so that you can enjoy your new community on day one. Your satisfaction in your new community or home greatly depends on how quickly you can enjoy your neighborhood, participating in activities and making new friends.

Do you offer moves within the same senior community?

Yes, we do apartment-to-apartment moves within communities and make the transition smooth and stress-free. We usually complete these types of moves in one day so your life is disrupted as little as possible.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the entire Phoenix Metro area including Sun City, Sun City West, Scottsdale, Peoria, Surprise, Goodyear, Glendale, Mesa, Tempe and surrounding cities.

Is your pricing competitive or more expensive because you specialize in seniors?

Our pricing is competitive, transparent and fair. While we offer more hands-on services than traditional movers, many clients find we save them time, stress, and money in the long run.

Can I get a free moving consultation?

Yes! We offer a free, no-pressure consultation where we walk through your needs, timeline, and goals so we can create a custom plan just for you.

How much does a senior move cost?

Costs vary based on the services needed and size of the move. We’ll give you a more accurate estimate after your free consultation.

How far in advance should I book my move?

We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance. However, we’ll do our best to accommodate short-notice moves whenever possible.

What is the process to schedule a move?

Just call us at 602-620-9941 or fill out our online form so we can set up your free consultation. At the free consultation, we'll discuss the packing, moving & unpacking services you need, determine the timing, give you an estimate. If you choose to use our services, we have a simple contract that we sign and you sign so everything is clear. We take a 30 - 50% deposit based on the estimate to secure your packing and moving dates. Then we are all set to start your move on your moving dates. Simple as that.

Can you help me decide what to take with me?

Yes! Our downsizing specialists work with you to determine what fits in your new space and what’s most meaningful to bring.

How is downsizing different from a regular move?

Downsizing involves emotional decisions, sorting through a lifetime of items, and right-sizing into a smaller space — we walk with you every step of the way.

Can you help organize before I move?

Yes, practically every move involves some level of sorting and organizing before moving day as part of our full-service approach. We make certain that we put things away in an organized manner at your new location so that you can easily access what you need to live in your new home.

Can you take things to donation?

Definitely. We’ll coordinate donation drop-offs and provide documentation if needed for tax purposes.

What if I’m moving from out of state or to another state?

We can help pack or unpack and coordinate logistics with movers, PODS, or senior move managers at either end.

What is estate clearing and how is it different from junk removal?

Estate clearing involves sorting, inventorying, packing, shipping, donating, and cleaning out a loved one’s home with care and dignity — not just hauling everything away.

Do you work with families who live out of state?

Yes, we frequently coordinate with adult children and estate attorneys across the country. We’re experienced in remote coordination.

Do you clean the home after clearing?

Although we have done this in the past, our specialty is in moving and estate clearing. We offer professional referrals for a trusted company that we have used personally for move-out cleaning services so the home is ready to list or lease.

Can you help ship belongings to family members?

Yes, we handle packing and coordinate shipping so family heirlooms and keepsakes get to where they belong.
